The Small print

DESIGN
Michelle will strive to produce the design agreed on, but reserves the right to change part of a design if she feels it is not stable or does not complement the finished cake. Michelle will try to inform you of any changes but this is not always possible with any last minute adjustments.

COLOURS
Requested colours will be used, however an exact match 
cannot be guaranteed, but every
effort will be made to match
colours on the cake.

STANDARDS
All cakes are made to the highest
standards possible following
government health and hygiene
guidelines.
Please note, cakes may contain food
safe supports. You will be informed
of any supports used on collection
of your cake. If delivered, the venue
will be informed of this.

ALLERGIES
Unless you have informed us of any
dietary requirements, all cakes
made contain the following allergens:
Cereal containing Gluten, Milk and Eggs and are made in an environment that handles nuts, soya and alcohol.

PORTION SIZES
All cake portion guide lines are on the basis of serving a 2" by 1" slice. If you feel you would like bigger slices of cake or smaller finger slices, please advise Michelle of this when ordering your cake. She can then advised you on the most suitable size of cake needed to feed your guests.

COST
Each cake is individually priced. Once Michelle has designed your cake she will inform you by email of the cost of your cake and a non refundable deposit will then be due on acceptance of the quote. If no deposit is received then your cake will not be produced. Any changes to the design made by the customer will possibly incur a further cost. Full payment is due a week before  delivery/collection date by bank transfer only. Michelle will call you the week your cake is due to organise collection/delivery time with you.

FRESH FLOWERS
If you require fresh flowers for your cake then these must be supplied by your own florist. The cost of fresh flowers will not be included in the price of your cake. It is up to you to order suitable flowers for your cake, please note some flowers are poisonous or contain harmful pesticides. Your florist can advise you on this. Fancy cakes take no responsibillity on the flower choice made. Michelle will only supply you with the quantity of flowers required.

COLLECTION OR DELIVERY
You will be notified the week of collection of a suitable time to collect your cake. Michelle will ensure your cake is suitably stable for collection. The safest place for your cake while travelling is in the boot of your car on a flat surface.
Delivery is available at a cost of £1 per mile outside the boundary of 10 miles of Long Load, Somerset.
Once the cake is collected from Fancy Cakes, we takes no responsibility for the condition it arrives at the venue.
Once a cake is delivered and set up no responsibility for damage will be taken by Fancy Cakes. Please note weather conditions, wonky floors, insects, wind blowing and many more events out of Fancy Cakes control can affect your cake. Please take out suitable insurance if you feel it may be required.
